Final Reflection

The semester is over and also this course. In this subject I have learn some facts about different topics, I have experimented experiences that I have never had and also I have had some kind of fun. I consider this course and the subject were really helpful to me, we have discussed topics of which I have knew jus a little. The class has been really entertaining, some times more than others and my roommates and the teacher were people I liked to know. I like the class and almost all the activities we have done, for example the video calls with people of other countries nit only in the classroom but also by our own. It has been a good class where I can know people, get knowledge of some topics that aren't always discussed in some places, but the most important thing: I can improve and practice my English skills. That I would be the missy important reason of why I like these subject.

Spirituality Collage

With the opinion of all the members of the team we chose "Spirituality". It is a topic that have a lot of  material to work on but not everybody wants to because it also can fell into religious problems.

We chose the Taj Mahal because we consider that this is one of the greatest representations of spirituality that it is not catholic. It is a magnificent construction and a huge architectural work for those who still have hindi beliefs.

We also pick a poem of Emily Dickinson for spirituality literature because her work is a big representation of what spirituality means.

We chose a Chinese performance as performing arts in spirituality because the Chinese culture is characterized for being in peace and meditate to keep calm your spirit and there is a company called Shen Yun which is also known as divine performing arts and they perform classical Chinese dances, ethnic and folk dance.

For spiritual music we chose the Gregorian chants because they are sacred songs for the Roman Catholic Church and all religions involve spirituality.

The image of the movie "The Passion of the Christ" is about spirituality because it covers topics such as religion, and staying true about what you believe and what makes you feel mind fullness despite what others may think or do to avoid it.

We choose a paint by Danny O' Connor because his paintings are inspired by real cases of people who had many troubles and they needed to overcome them; and silk ritualize is to a persons individual growth and how do people manage to mature in life. Also we choose that photography because in the Indian culture, the lotus flowers means purity, knowledge, learning, fruitfulness and illumination; and spirituality involves many aspects of that meaning because spirituality is to know your environment and your world.

We chose The Archangel Michael, one of only three angels that are named in the Bible because e are told that he is a mighty warrior and leader of other angels.

These Project help to thing what stages were more memorable in my life. There were stages better tha others that are really meanable to me. I was a great Project with some difficulties.

Lifes Purpose	The purpose of life in the eyes of Jehovah's Witness is to ensure that you live forever after death.
Afterlife	The afterlife consists of only 144,000 chosen people that will reign in Heaven with God. The rest of the witnesses will live on earth to restore paradise. All others will be annihilated, however, there is no hell.
Worship Practices (what/when/where)	Witnesses meet on Sunday at the Kingdom Hall for a public meeting, which includes a Bible-based lecture. A second meeting, lasting about an hour, features discussion of an article from Watchtower magazine. Meetings begin and end with prayer and may include singing. Meetings are conducted by elders or overseers.

Reflection

With this project I have the opportunity to understand and learn about practices of people of an other religion, in this case the Jehova's Witnesses. It was really helpful because I did not knew much information of this religion. For example I didn't knew that they read a bibile similar to the one that catholics use. It was really interesting to look for their practices and what they think about life, past and future.

Sometimes we wonder how do you say some words in other languages, so my team decided to make a video about how do you say mother, father and I love you in 13 different languages, here they are...

I have always wonder how you can say some commonly words in other languages, so when teacher said we have to do this project, the first thing that come to my head was "How do you say mother and father in the languages of the classroom presentations?". Those words and I love you are words that we use in our daily life so I think its really useful to know how to say them in the 13 languages we have been given.

How to understand Women?

So, if you are a agirl, maybe you have notice that men do not understand us, but that is the problem. They are always complaining that we are complicated and that they do not know how to understand us. The point is they do not need to, they just have to love us but they still need some guidance, so my team and I make a Manual of how to understand us.

Week i

The whole last week every person at the campus have been focus in the Week i, every person was part of different challenges according to its semester and their majors. In my case I was part of the entrepreneurship challenge, which consists in the selling of a product or service created by us. My team sold covers for credentials that were made and decorated by us and tha can be functional to the community not only for the pople at Tec de Monterrey but also external people.

Introduction of Me

My name is Diana, I'm 18 years old and I am from Mexico City. I am studying Communication and Digital Media at Tec de Monterrey, the choice of my major was a really difficult one because when I was in third semester of high school I thought I want to study International Business, then we have a talk about the different majors that Tec CEM has and I decided to change my major to Animation and Digital Art. That was a big stage because I sign up to the major and have my schedule but then we visited Imagination Films, a animation producer that is in Queretaro, and I realized I did not want to study Animation so I make my change to Communication and Digital Media. And that is why I am studying Communication.

As my personal information I love to read, I can finish a book in one day. I read romantic books, classics, young adult and new adult books. The first saga I ever read is called "Fairy Oak", it was about a twins named Vainilla and Pervinca, they were witches and fight for world, it was really cool. Then I read "Twilight", the teenagers cliche. After that I started to read every romantic book I could found, supernatural or real life. Now my favorite saga is "The Rosemary Beach Series", it is a very romantic saga and it is because is not only about two people, i because there are the stories of a group of playboy friend that suddenly find love.

I also like a lot the snow, if I could live in some place where in Christmas snow and everything covers on white. I have read and watch enough movies to want snow and what implies, the romanticism and the games, the snow falling in your face, is something I really want.

Also I like to watch movies, listening to music and draw. The last one is what impulse me to try Animations, then I discover I was not good enough.

This class is really important for me because I really like languages, specially English and German, I want to be a polyglot person. Since I was a little girl I wanted to understand completely what people of other countries said, now I can almost do it, so I feel fulfilled about that.

On this blog I will upload my activities and also I will correct my writing skills with practice. This was the first entry, I hope it help you to know me better.
